Description

Guide your little ones in their first steps towards science with our fun exhibits and dedicated children’s galleries. Children can explore their curiosity about patterns, stage a puppet show and see the wonders of kaleidoscopes.

The Garden is an interactive gallery created especially for our very youngest visitors. When we’re little, playing is just another way of learning. This makes the gallery an ideal place for 3–6 year olds to discover science by playing in an exciting, multi-sensory environment.

Pattern Pod is a hands-on gallery that was created especially for children from 5–8 years of age and their parents. Like scientists, children explore the world by trying to make predictions about events happening around them. It’s often easier to make these predictions if these events repeat themselves or if there is a pattern to them.

The Bubble Show, this interactive show features bubbles of all sizes going up, down, this way, that way, and all over the place… with a little help from the audience! Find out the secret Science Museum bubble recipe and you might even get the chance to step inside our famous human bubble.
