Full Description

The Museum’s popular Kids’ Zone is now closed

To begin this transformation the Museum is required to undertake a series of preparatory works on the building and the Collection, which will require us to close to the public from 30 April 2014.

In 2016 we will launch our transformed museum with a brand new state-of-the-art Kids’ Zone offer, alongside innovative exhibitions and a new cafe.

For further details about the project, please check the ‘Building for the Future’ website.

Soft play for babies and a Kids’ Zone for interactive learning and play for under 8′s with forest and arctic themed climbing frames for kids to scale, slide and run through.

This new children’s play area explores aspects of army life from camping to clothing. It includes a dedicated soft-play space for babies, plus arts and crafts, dressing-up costumes, books, interactive toys and panels.

Tickets for sessions tend to sell out before 11.00am during school holidays. To avoid disappointment, we recommend that you arrive early. You can book your tickets online up to three days in advance. Charges apply for the Kid’s Zone.
