A great day out, and quite reasonably priced too. Our toddler loved it and we’ll definitely be visiting again! We even had the chance to watch a fabulous play during our trip which was included in the price. You can also take with a picnic and eat in the lobby or on the picnic tables outside if you don’t want to buy food in the shop.

We went for the second time today. It’s a really fun place to go and very reasonably priced. I love how enthusiastic the staff are! They make every effort to make stories fun for kids. Check for details of special events and story readings. The staff use props during their story telling sessions to bring books to life. The main area and garden are full of various settings to explore and are particularly great for imaginative play e.g. in the garden, they have climbing frames built in the shape of a pirate ship and a spaceship. The current Secret Agent exhibition is fantastic. Much more suitable for 6+ years, when your child is able to write. That said, they did find ways to engage younger ones too They often have visiting authors and illustrators, so do check their website for upcoming events!
