Full Description

Broomfield Park has one of the largest adventure playgrounds in London as well as a smaller, more traditional playground with swings, slides and roundabouts. There is also a cafeteria, public toilets with facilities for disabled people & baby changing and a lake.

Other facilities in the park include an adventure golf course, a yachting pond (used for model boats), a basketball court, a football pitch, a bowling green, 9 netball courts and 12 tennis courts.

The Victorian Conservatory contains features including a waterfall, fish pond and a display of unusual plants from all over the world. Bananas can sometimes be seen growing in the conservatory during summer months.

The Bandstand was built on the side of the lower lake during 1928. The bandstand is still in use today and summer concerts take place in the holiday period.
