We had such a lovely half-day outing here with our kids aged 8, 5 and 2. The boating lake is good fun. There’s lots of space for picnics, both in the sun and shade. The playground is small and a bit limited, but we still spent a good hour in there, playing in the sandpits and on the equipment. The kids had a great time. I also loved that there was free parking in the car park there!
